Sprite Remixed.



A tribute to TWO classics!!
If you like sprite and pound cake you're gonna love this one!!

PREHEAT YOUR OVEN TO 325*!!

Zest about 2 teaspoons each of lemon and lime,
and set aside.
Sift 3 cups of all purpose flour and 1/4 teaspoon of salt,
and set aside.


Cream 4 sticks of softened butter until fluffy, 
add 3 cups of sugar and cream until smooth. Add 5 large
eggs one at a time. Make sure each egg is mixed before adding another.
Add 1 1/2 teaspoons of each zest.



Ready for the sprite? Slowly alternate the flour and salt mixture with 1 cup of lemon-lime soda. 


Pour in a greased bundt pan and let it cook atleast an hour and 15 minutes.
While your cake is cooking mix 2 Tablespoons 
of soda with the rest of the zest and 1 cup of powdered sugar. This is your glaze.
Test it with a knife in a couple spots before removing your cake. Your cake should cool 
atleast 15 minutes before removing it from the pan and adding your glaze. 



Moist, flavorful and sweet describe this one!!
