Yummy Zeppole!!!

A zeppola (zeppole is plural) is an italian pastry...sort of like a doughnut. They're yummy
and very easy to make at home.

First bring to a boil:
3 tablespoons of sugar
1 stick butter
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup water

Once boiling, remove from heat
and slowly stir in
1 cup all-purpose flour
until a ball forms.
One at a time, add four eggs. Make sure to fully
incorporate each egg before adding another!

Your batter should look like this.

Drop spoonfuls of the batter into hot oil.
Cook for 5 minutes rolling over as needed.
Your zeppole will puff up
like a pillow.

Drain on paper towel.

If done right your desserts should be light,
fuffly and flaky.

Top with sugar and cinnamon
(or powdered sugar)!!!

ENJOY!!!
